Tanis
Tanis (she/her), is an approved birth and postpartum doula for The Doulas for Aboriginal Families grant program offered by the BC Association of Aboriginal Friendship Centres.
About Tanis
Tanis is a busy and proud mom to three lovely children. Since 2014, she has been a dedicated doula and childbirth educator in the Alberni Valley and on the West Coast. She truly loves what she does! With a background in massage and bodywork, Tanis brings a nurturing touch and a passion for supporting families through pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
During her free time, you’ll find her exploring the forest, enjoying the ocean, or being the biggest cheerleader to her own family.

Birth is a beautiful and transformative milestone for everyone. It’s an honor to support families through this journey and process. Whether it’s education throughout pregnancy in preparation for birth or postpartum care and lactation support, to be able to bring a family closer and ease the transition is such a pleasure.
